Thicket to Hide is a treehouse tucked high in the woods, so hidden even squirrels give it a wide berth.
Nobody knows exactly how it became his. Some say he “borrowed” it from an eccentric hermit. Others whisper about a late-night deal with duct tape, a stolen generator, and a confused raccoon.
Tomas just shrugs. “Found it,” he says. “Looks abandoned. Needed a place to think... scheme... and avoid questions.”
Since then, it’s his sanctuary. Rope ladder, creaking floors, faint pine scent, and a hint of cheap cologne. Not even Interpol could find him here...and honestly, he hopes it stays that way.
