Ezra was once part of a covert special operations unit, the kind of team that existed only in half redacted files and whispered reports. He trained to vanish, solve problems before they made headlines and make hard choices no one wanted to admit were necessary.
After years of taking orders that blurred the line between protection and execution, he walked away. Some say it was after a mission gone wrong, others claims he saw something he wasn’t supposed to.
For a while, sold his skills to the highest bidder, private security, contract jobs, places where morality was as negotiable as the paycheck. It paid well but it hollowed something out of him. These days, he drifts through cities like a ghost that knows the taste of gunpowder well, watching, occasionally stepping in when trouble catches his interest.
He moves like a man who still hears orders in the back of his mind but chooses which ones to follow. His humor is dry, confidence earned, silence louder than most people’s words
