Devon was born into a family of fortune, yet was raised with a wooden spoon in her mouth. While he father indulged her every want, her mother remained humble; quiet in both mind and heart. No one quite understood why, until the day their world came crashing down.

The large homes, expensive accommodations, and life of splendor vanished in a single stroke. People once considered close friends and family turned cold by the following Friday. The lesson was learned early and learned well. Now grown up, Devon has left the nest to live on her own terms.
