Character Trivia
Following the traumatizing loss of his mother, Charlie grows up in the shadow of his brother, Lucas. Feeling neglected by his father, he turns to the gang of Uncle Joe, his father's business partner, and one day rats on his father and Lucas's whereabouts, accidentally causing his brother to get shot and his father to disappear.
Moving from one group home to the next, the boys managed to stick together and, coming of age, end up sharing an apartment. When Charlie messes up getting caught selling drugs, however, they're forced to move out. Charlie - feeling responsible - arranges a new place from Uncle Joe to live rent free in exchange for his services as a drug dealer and more shady jobs.
During a surveillance task, he meets Daisy Noir and, though he wouldn't admit it, falls head over heels for her, experiencing it as an overpowering need to always keep her safe.
