Love is…
When I was younger, I thought that love, to be true, real, needed to happen instantly, intensely, overwhelmingly, urgently.
But I was wrong.
I learned that true love is in no hurry. It is calm. It doesn't demand anything to be proven, it doesn't beg for answers, it isn't measured by the time it took, but by the constancy that endures.
Sometimes, loving is precisely knowing how to wait. It's allowing time to work in silence, allowing life to follow its course, allowing each person to find their own path, and perhaps, at some point, those paths will cross again.
Today I know that love is not urgency, isn’t a fire that consumes. It’s a flame that resists the wind. It's not the now, it’s the eternity. It's the forever that remains, even when everything else seems to fade away.
And if it's meant to be, time doesn't delay it, it only prepares it.
⏳ Love, when it's true, isn't in a hurry to happen. It simply waits for the right moment to remain.
