Aurora: (whispering) Atyas, did you zee it? The mousz went thiz way!
Atlas: (bending low to peek under the leaves) I sawz! It looked fluzfly!
Aurora: (eyes wide) Mamie say smol mouz always munchi fruity thingz.
Atlas: (gasping, grabs Aurora's hand) Then we take that.. Mamie's greenies!
(They start picking mint leaves, lavender, witchy herbs, seeds, blueberries - carefully dropping all of them into a basket, for the little mouse)

Atlas: Uhm... What iz it’s scared? We should whisper so moz know we are kind.
Aurora: Okay. (softly, to the bushes) Hellooo, little mouz... We nice. We have fruity...
(A soft rustle makes them freeze. Aurora grabs Atlas’s sleeve. With quiet resolve, Atlas stepped forward and drew her behind him, his small frame standing like a fragile shield against the unknown)
Aurora: (gasps) Atyas!
(A bright blue butterfly bursts up from the grass, swirling in the air)
Atlas: (next to Aurora, amazed) Waaa...
Aurora: (in awe) A sky-bug!
Atlas: Muz turned into a sky-bug? Mamie say zings change...
(They both stare up, following the butterfly until it disappears into the trees. Then they sit down together, the baskets filled with sparkly colours, resting between them)
Aurora: If we wait, it fly again to uz!
(Atlas nods. They giggle softly, leaning close as their grandmother's garden hums with bees and small, powerful magic. Mamie stays close, constantly checking on them, guarding. Everything breaths in, breaths out)
