I think my boobs are starting to blossom. I'm not a kid anymore!

Maya had first noticed this change that morning, exclaiming these words to her sister Bella. Maya had just turned 15, and the younger was jealous. Though not very far from her own 15th birthday.

The two were nearly inseparable, closer than with any of their siblings. Explained mostly by the fact that the girls were so close in age. Too close, in fact, to both have the same mother, but Liv was always quick to brush aside any approach of the subject. Including that Maya was a dead ringer for a teenaged Evie. That the girls had the same father was something even Liv was unaware of.

Looks were where the similarities between Maya and Evie ended, however. It was why the teen was home alone at that moment. The rest off shopping or otherwise socializing. Neither were things she was very interested in, especially the latter. A big family made the others flourish, but it had sent Maya inward. The one exception being Bella, Maya was happier alone than with the rest. Perfectly content to read or scroll on her phone, especially as her teen years came on and the pure existence of her other siblings annoyed her.

Though that wasn't true for everyone in the house. And never more untrue than when she felt the kiss to the top of her head. She knew who it was, even before he spoke, and she couldn't have been happier to have him home. Unless it was to know that she had his attention to herself for once. It was time for Daddy-Daughter day 2.0 and she planned to take full advantage.
