Uni Days

Going from the last year of London schools to the first year of uni, it was an adjustment. Pre-med wasn't an easy track. Plus, she was no longer living at home but in the dorms.

The dorms weren't bad. She had her own tiny little single room in a suite. There was a common area she shared with her two roommates. They got along well enough. Not best friends so to say, but things had worked out well enough that they decided to stay together next year too.

So in some ways, Kaia did feel like she was fitting in well enough. This year had been a fresh start. She didn't go to all the parties and all, but went to some with Sage and with her roommates. She went to some of the school sporting events too to be social with some casual friends she made.

Still, it did feel like people didn't know her know her. Opening up though, it wasn't an easy thing. And, Kaia was beginning to realize that well maybe that was a bit on her. It wasn't like she was trying not to. Just....it was hard. Her past an echo in the background of her head. One that she didn't know how to get past.
