Some of us update
We patch bugs, refine code, level up.
We evolve.
We don't just survive, We optimize. New situations? We recalibrate. Bad day? We reframe. Toxic people? We uninstall. One could say We are the human equivalent of a software update: always smoother, smarter, and better dressed.
Our virus control is top-tier by the way. Fully activated. We don’t just detect threats, We quarantine the drama.
But then… there are the others.
You know the type. They’ve been playing the same bad script, stale lines, tired delivery. Same drama. Same tantrum.
They say they’ve “changed.”
Oh darlings, no....
They’ve looped. They’re not growing, They’re rebooting the same sad episode like a budget soap opera in syndication.
Ad libitum...that’s Latin for This is the only song I know how to sing.
And they’ve been humming it for years...
Meanwhile, some of us are learning new languages, healing old wounds, reinventing our style, finding love, losing it, and making art out of the ashes. That’s growth. That’s effort. That’s... me.
And while they step into the spotlight with their same old tricks...
The audience has moved on.
The curtain’s dropped.
The applause is gone.
No encores for echoes.
