There’s something about water.
A lake, the ocean, even just a quiet riverbank, doesn’t matter.
If it moves, if it reflects the sky, if it breathes in its own rhythm… I feel calm.
It’s like everything heavy in my chest lets go for a minute.
Thoughts slow down. Breathing gets easier.
No noise I don’t need, no pressure to be anywhere else.
Doesn’t matter where I am.
If there’s water nearby, I’m good.
