Ten years... feels like just yesterday I held you in my arms for the first time, afraid to breathe too hard and wake you up. I remember the sound of your breathing, like the world was at peace just because you arrived. Since then, so much has changed.

Life has its twisted ways of happening, and sometimes we lose our way a little. It's hard to explain certain things, but I also know you understand more than I realize. Sometimes, I see questions in your eyes that you don't yet know how to ask, and I wish I had all the answers in the world for you. But the truth is: I don't. And that's okay. Because the most important thing I can teach you isn't in having all the answers, but in how to look for them.

You're going to grow even more. Who knows, you might even end up taller than me. You'll make mistakes, stumble, get things wrong, and sometimes you'll doubt yourself. But that doesn't make you weak or any less worthy. It makes you human. And I want you to grow up knowing that a man's worth isn't about never messing up, it's about having the courage to look in the mirror, own your mistakes, and try to be better the next day.

Be kind, even when others aren't. Be fair, even when it's easier to look the other way. But I think you already know that, your mom always lived by that.

I miss moments that won't come back, and I think about all the things I could've done differently. And when I think about that, I think about you too. Because even on my worst days, when the world feels to heavy, you're the reason I know it's worth trying again. You're my anchor, my guiding star. Every time I hear you laugh, see you excitedly telling a story with those bright eyes, I know what really matters. It's not what I've achieved, it's who I am to you.

My love for you never wavers. It's the one absolute certainly I have. And it'll stay that way for the rest of my life, my baby boy.
