Only the Sky is the limit
Long ago I locked my heart away behind steel bars. It was broken once and I swore I would never feel that kind of pain again. Love became a language I refused to speak.
I turned my pain into power and scaled mountains most feared to climb. I built empires from the ashes of heartbreak and achieved my ambitions just to fill the void...
For years I lived unshaken.. Unreachable.
But hearts are silly things. No matter how deep the prison, mine found its way out.
And it ran straight to you.
And now, I ache 
So when they said: “Only the Sky is the limit,”
they didn’t mean it as a warning, but they should've had.

Thankfully I’m not alone. I’m looking after my friend’s dog for a while and honestly, there is no better cure for a broken heart than a wagging tail and a pair of eyes that love you without a question.
