It begins
"Wait, what?" Vega stared at her Mother from across the family table in Stockholm.
"He's bringing a girl with him!" Vega announced nervously. "A girl Mom, a girl! He's only 16 and oh my god, what if ..." She looked towards the living room, her Father distracted by a game on tv, "What if he turns out like you know, Dad? I mean, when I had Noble I didn't really think about you know the family genes and well you know Dad and what not haven't always been great at you know."
"Now Vega, just because your Dad has two wives, one of them being my sister and just because your Uncle and I and Vee and Irish and well who knows who else, well it doesn't mean Noble is going to do the same." She had to assure her daughter, it was a bit of a touchy subject in their family after all.
"You raised him right, at least I think you did and not what your Father does and what your Uncle does and so on isn't right, it's a lifestyle choice and that doesn't mean Noble is going to do the same, even if he does look up to your Father as if he's some sort ..." She was distracted, that was a terrible example and she knew it.
"Listen, I know you and your sisters see things in a certain way, but honestly your Father and I am your Uncle and what not well we all love each other very much." Vega glared at her Mother, "You aren't helping here, you really, really aren't. He's a good boy Mom, right? Oh I am too young for this, how is my baby boy already bringing home a girl?"
Things were livening up once again with their families, as if they'd been asleep emerging from a slumber.
