A Thousand Times Over

As she sat across from him at the table, fingers intertwined as they held each others hand, Ajax sighed with perfect happiness. That kind of happiness one would read in a book or see in a movie, the happiness her husband gave her even after all these years. She hated to say it but this new home life was quiet, pleasant, the shards of glass has been swept away. This life she chose over music and touring was the most rewarding she could have ever dreamed of.

She sent her flirty smiles and I love you's to the man of her dreams throughout the date, letting her husband know exactly what he as always meant to her. How she would support him in every wild idea and dream his brain would throw in her direction at any given time. He inspired her to maybe take up writing and help with the city newspaper he loved so dearly.
