Writing blogs has never been my cup of coffee, at least not in the limited space given here, but I want to thank our Iris for showing her support anytime. I too agree with what my acolytes wrote, but... 🤷 What can I say?
Hmm, maybe about Hamilton and the "thanks" part he mentioned: No doubt I'm a big fan of cultural diversity. However, as diverse as it can get, all language-learning methods always teach how to say "hello" and "thanks". Never ever seen an exception until this day, be it in Italian, Zulu, Lingala, or Hindi. So I guess these formulas, mocked by some people for obscure reasons I refuse to understand, must be a universal code for the civility my wife is alluding to. And not just when you meet people for the first time. They are among the keys to successful long-term and close relationships, even inside biological families, believe it or not ;)
Another obscure part is: Why would someone contact my wife for that stuff when there are still hundreds of business options and locales in popmundo... Anyway, she's done, we are too. "Adios".
Back to the beauty in the picture. She's the next artist we decided to cover, both here and on Earth v.01.02 like we always do, with more or less ease (*cough*) I'm talking about imitating Papa Wemba, for example 😅 but "food for the soul" rules.
Allowing "other" cultures' music to touch us is probably still an underestimated and underutilized doorway to peace on Earth v.01.02. But again: 🤷 ...
