Special Lyrics

Hiding and lurking in the shadows.
Afraid to show my self in public.
What is causing this sudden and irrational fear?
With my woman at my side I took cover in the alley.
Peering around the corner to see if we were still undetected.
Could we make a run for it? Would we get clear or would they get us?

After a short break we kissed each other to gain comfort and courage.
Far ahead I spotted one of the predators roaming.
Would we make it, or was it all to late?
We run like the wind but still we were spotted.
Running feet closed in, as we were just a few steps from freedom.
One of the predators was dangerously close to my woman,
forcing me to fire a few shots in the air with my six-shooter.
The filthy creatures backed off for a few seconds,
giving us enough time to heave ourselves into safety.

The bus doors closed behind us and we were panting.
A silent nod from the driver confirmed our departure, and we were moving.
As the bus slowly rolled away we fell in to each other’s arms exhausted.
Nothing we could say or do could make the agony disappear.
Outside the predators were scuffled aside by the moving bus.
My half naked band mate seemed pale with agitation and shook his head.
“I’m glad you made it here safely”, he said and smiled bluntly.

I glared outside the window as I hurried after my beloved woman.
As we entered our room she suddenly cried out in anger.
A sudden flash struck like lightning and my vision started fading.
One of those raptors had lured my band mate to get on board.
Giving her body to him while hiding her true intentions.
I almost caught her camera as she darted past me.
I threw my lasso at her but she dodge away, heading for the doors.
Fearlessly, and still naked, she departed the bus at full speed.

Alone and safe… At last…

But for how long?
