Harlem United champion 🗽🥇
Tears of joy and emotion stream down my face as I write these words. The road has been long and difficult, but we have finally achieved our goal. Harlem United is a champion, and I am part of this incredible team.
I remember the year I thought I'd quit basketball. I felt lost, and I went into the dark swamp and was there. But thanks to the help of Kobe and my wife, I was able to come back and find myself again.
It was Nixie who showed me I needed to keep playing in Harlem. She reminded me of the passion and love I have for this sport. I apologized to my brother-in-law for leaving music (since I had started playing in his band) and returning to basketball, but now I know it was the right decision.
This year has been incredible. We finished third with my hometown team, New York, and now we've won the title with Harlem United. It's a dream come true.
I want to dedicate this title to all the people who have been important in my life. To my family, who has always supported me. To my friends, who have been there for me through thick and thin. To the people who left me, but whom I still miss, and I will always be here for them.
And to Colin, who isn't with us, but I know he's celebrating up in heaven. The team remembers you. Go Harlem United! We're the champions! 🏆💪🎉
