The Falcone Brothers
It wasn't an easy decision to change one's last name, especially if it was a name that had been theirs for over 30 years. Yet, Deiana no longer felt right. He and his father got along these days but it wasn't like he had forgiven him or even wanted to. When he had been with his partners it wasn't a big deal because there had been options but now, now it felt more like a noose than anything else. He didn't want a relationship with his dad.
It hurt to think in those terms because he knew Elijah hadn't cut their father out of his life with his name change but for Duke, it was different. He didn't want to be associated with his dad. He knew that his father wasn't a bad man, but the damage from being his son was too great to continue. Instead he took the same name as his brother. After all, Falcone was a family name, although he wasn't sure how. He wasn't so much into their family history, but Sabrina was and he trusted her.
