XXXI - Our little Roadknight
Here we are, at exactly the four week mark... our little Roadknight will arrive in about two weeks.
This nesting period has been so intimate, feeling the baby respond to the sound of our voices and soft caresses right before bed. And although I keep watch on the calendar, in anticipate of Remy's debut into the world - into this tight-knit group of wonderful people that make up our family, a part of me wishes that this pregnancy could last longer.
That I could cradle our sweet little baby the closes that I ever could for just a little longer. That I could feel those little hands and feet for just a tiny bit more.
But, alas, the stars always have their way.
Very soon a little star will be born and yes - it's a boy!!
