There are shades of red that don’t just color the room they dissect it. Before the scene begins, I take a breath. Not because I need to. Just to remind myself I still can.
A long tour schedule feels like drowning with rhythm. Being on stage isn't glorious anymore it’s ritual. Fractured pieces of who we were come together, not to heal, but to function. The songs still get sung. The crowd still loses their minds. We’re not giants, but we’re loud enough to shake the floor. We climb the charts, not because we believe in the summit but because falling is worse.
Dawkins still lingers in the shadows. Nothing new. He thrives where the light ends. Fans wait backstage with pens and expectations. I don’t care. Never did. I’m not seduced by applause and I’m not chasing women. I move with intent. Not instinct.
