In a corner side, she, a modern yet naïve femme- fatale, in a world frozen in time. Tired of the devious whispers and lingering gazes that followed her everywhere she went. Apathy, monotony, a bird trapped in a cage, trying to break free herself from a legacy, she never signed.
Across the room, the secret gathering of a small group of men around a table. Tension rose on their faces like the thick fog of cigars. Cards were shuffled, poker chips rattled, and suspicion grew on all sides. He, a skilled magician, quick-thinking, cool-headed, sharp-witted, gained the upper hand.
Both, mischievous colored eyes, oblivious of each other and what fate had on hand. Suddenly, the game of charm and deception reaches its breaking point. The sound of a single gunshot shattering the celebrations of the night.
