50 years
It feels like yesterday and a lifetime ago. And I guess, considering that 50 years have passed since then, it actually
is a lifetime. One full of love and laughter, beautiful children, grandchildren and even great-grandchildren. A lifetime of trying to reach the stars, both in volleyball and basketball. But always with you by my side, no matter where the wind would take us.
50 years is a long time to be married to someone. It's not something to take for granted, nor is it given to everyone. I still remember how young I was back when we met, how scared. How lonely. But you took one look at me and saw something nobody else saw and you took me in. And today 50 years ago, we became husband and wife.
Right now we're standing on the precipe of a new path in our lives. But one we will take together. Life has been good, life has been hectic and sometimes hard. But it's time to retire. Time to take the next step. I'm ready whenever you are,
